Step 5. Removing the Ribbon Cables

There are a few ribbon cables that hold the board to the screen module. You will need to pull these out! If you are getting frustrated with all the steps you need to do, don't worry! You are almost there! To remove the cable will require your screw driver, or another tip. The first one to tackle is the one pictured below.


To remove, you should take your screwdriver and push the clip that is holding the ribbon in place.

Now that that ribbon is removed, you can remove another one! This is one on the left side of the board as pictured below!
This ribbon is removed in the exact same way as the other one. You should push the clip out and then pull the ribbon out! Make note of the orientation of the contacts so when you go to put your PPC back together you will know how to mount them properly!
